Aval laddu are delicious ladoo made with thick poha (flattened rice or parched rice), jaggery/ sugar and ghee. When it comes to making quick snacks nothing beats the quickness of aval recipes Its a simple sweet recipe which can be made within 10 minutes of time. The video is availbale with english subtitles. Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Cooking Time: 5 minutes
Serves: 10
1. Take 2 cups of poha in a bowl and soak it in water for 10 mins
2. Pour 2 tablespoon ghee in a pan and roast cashew and dry grapes
3. Put half a cup of sugar in the same pan. pour water till it immerses.
4. No need of string consistency. just make sure the sugar is dissolved. Add food color to it
5. Now drain water from the soaked aval/ poha and put it in the pan and mix it well.
6. Turn the stove off
7. Apply ghee on hands and make laddus
