உளுந்தங்களி (Ulunthangali)
ulunthankali recipe is a trade mark dish given mainly for the strong development of the bones mostly for the growing kids. Most importantly for the girl children they must be given at the stage when they attain puberty. But in general its very good for even grown ups, boy kids and finally every person can have this without any guilt. Traditionally only black urad dal with skin is used and only palm jaggery is the right combination for this sweet.

Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 20 minutes
Serves: 10
1.Roast the whole black urad dhal and grind it into a paste.
2. Make karupatti syrup with 3 tumblers of water. Filter it and keep it aside.
3. Now pour the prepared karupatti syrup in a pan. Stir it well.
4. Once it boils, add the powdered black urad dhal to it.
5. After it absorbs the water, add 6 tablespoon of coconut oil.
6. Add 2 tablespoon of Ghee to it
7. Serve it.
