இறால் பிரியாணி (Prawn biryani)
Prawn Biryani / Shrimp Biryani is a simple recipe to make with fantastic results each time. Because the prawn/shrimp meat is very tender and delicate the marination masala and the cooking time have to be modified.The Prawn is fried before adding into the dish.

Preparation Time: 20 minutes
Cooking Time: 20 minutes
Serves: 4
1. Soak 1.5 tumbler basmathi rice in water for 15 mins
2. Clean the prawn and add 0.5 teaspoon turmeric, 1 teaspoon chilli powder, 1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste and mix it well
3. Now pour 2 tablespoon oil in pan and fry the prawns.
4. Pour 2 tablespoon oil & 2 tablespoon ghee in a cooker
5. Add biryani leaf, 2 cinnamon, 2 star, 2 cardamam, add cashew if required.
6. Add chopped 3 chilli and 2 medium sized onion. saute it well.
7. Add 1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste
8. add 1 big chopped tomato, a handful of coriander & mint leaves and saute it well.
9. Add 0.5 teaspoon turmeric, 2 tablespoon chilli powder, 2 tablespoon biryani masala and also add a cup of curd to it.
10. Add the fried prawns now.
11. Pour 2.5 tumbler water and add salt to taste.
12. Once it boils, add the soaked rice.
13. Close the cooker lid, wait for 2 whistles.
14. Once the gas realesed, open the cooker.
15. Yummy Prawn Biryani is ready.
